Rosemary Hernandez, a proud native of Walla Walla and the youngest of six siblings, brings a deep-rooted connection to the community she serves at Communities In Schools of the Blue Mountain Region. Her journey in education began at Walla Walla High School, and she continued her pursuit of knowledge at Walla Walla Community College and achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Portland.
Her passion for giving back to her hometown and being a pillar of support for students and families aligns perfectly with CIS’s mission. Rosemary believes that making a positive impact in at least one person’s life is a lifelong goal worth striving for, and she embodies this dedication in her role within our organization.
Beyond her work, Rosemary finds joy in spending quality time with her friends and family. Exploring new places, whether through travel, hiking, or other outdoor activities, is a cherished pastime.
