Ian was born and raised in the Walla Walla Valley where he attended Berney Elementary, Pioneer Middle School and Walla Walla High School. After graduating from Western Washington University in 2003, Ian lived and worked in the Bellingham, WA area until returning to Walla Walla in 2016. Before joining CIS worked at Davis Elementary providing reading, handwriting and campus support.
“I am excited about meeting all the students to start this new school year and to see the positive impact that CIS will have on those students in our community,” he says.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys cycling, backpacking, sailing and building custom furniture from local oak wine barrels.
