Erica is originally from the west side of the state, but has called Walla Walla home since 2021. She studied Music Education and Flute Performance at Eastern Washington University prior to moving to the valley. Her experience in the education field is what led her to work for Communities In Schools of the Blue Mountain Region.
Erica found her passion for student and family advocacy through her previous role serving as an Intervention Specialist with Walla Walla Public Schools. She believes there is endless value in surrounding families with support and helping students best access their education. She is excited to use her skills and knowledge to support Sharpstein families.
Outside of work, Erica is active in the local music community and can be found performing with multiple ensembles. She also loves to spend time knitting and swing dancing.
