We’re thrilled to announce that Communities in Schools of the Blue Mountain Region is now officially a Blue Zones Project – Walla Walla Valley Certified Organization!
This achievement reflects our commitment to creating a healthier and happier workplace for our incredible team. As a Blue Zones Certified organization, we are dedicated to fostering well-being and positive lifestyle choices. We believe that a happy and healthy team leads to greater success in fulfilling our mission.
Our Student and Community Advocates have partnered with Blue Zones Project Walla Walla on multiple events and activities for the past 3 years, including Walking School Bus activities, cooking demonstrations, community education opportunities, wellness initiatives, and various trainings. This has inspired us to be more thoughtful about the choices we make as an organization externally with the students and families we partner with. It has also influenced our internal decisions as a team. We are fortunate to have a partner who promotes places that allow people to live longer, healthier, happier lives.
